TapQuoise Privacy Policy

Last updated: 9 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Evolazul Ltd ("Evolazul", "we", "us" or "our") handles information in connection with TapQuoise: Auto Clicker, our Android application (package name com.evolazul.tapquoise), and with visits to this website, evolazul.com. Evolazul Ltd is the developer of TapQuoise and operates this website.

The policy has three parts. Part A covers the TapQuoise app, Part B covers this website, and Part C covers matters that apply to both. The app and the website are separate, so please read the part that applies to you. It describes things as they work on the date above.

In short, for the TapQuoise app:

  • TapQuoise works mostly on your device. It has no user account or login, no ads, and no analytics or crash-reporting tools.
  • To run Image Workflows, TapQuoise looks at your screen, which can include content from other apps. It does this on your device.
  • TapQuoise does not currently upload your screen captures, image templates, workflows or tap positions to Evolazul or anyone else.
  • TapQuoise uses the internet and Google Play Billing for TapQuoise Pro purchases. It sends limited purchase information, over an encrypted HTTPS connection, to a server run by Evolazul. The server checks the purchase with Google Play and keeps a purchase record (see sections 7 and 10).

Part A: The TapQuoise app

1. What TapQuoise does

TapQuoise is an automation app and auto clicker. You build workflows out of actions such as Tap, Swipe, Long Press and Wait, and you decide the timing. A workflow can also include an image trigger: you choose a small image (a template), and TapQuoise performs your actions when that image is found on the screen.

TapQuoise only does what you have configured, and it does not decide for itself what to do. Its image matching compares pixels with the templates you created; it does not read text or work out what an on-screen item means.

2. Information TapQuoise processes, and why

TapQuoise processes the following on your device. Apart from the limited purchase information described in section 7, which includes one coarse usage-allowance value recorded when you buy TapQuoise Pro, none of it is sent to Evolazul.

  • workflows, including actions, tap and gesture positions, search regions, timing, repeat settings and trigger settings, so that TapQuoise can run what you have built;
  • image templates, which are the cropped images you choose, so that TapQuoise can recognise them on screen;
  • screen images, temporarily, to find your templates (see section 4);
  • Volume Up and Volume Down button presses, to support TapQuoise's pause and stop controls (see section 3);
  • app preferences, and whether you have reviewed TapQuoise's permission notices, so that the app remembers your choices;
  • local feature-access and usage-allowance information that the app uses to manage what is available to you; and
  • information about your TapQuoise Pro purchases that TapQuoise receives from Google Play, such as purchase tokens, so that your purchase can be verified and restored (see section 7).

TapQuoise does not have accounts, so it does not ask for your name, email address or a password. It does not use advertising identifiers.

3. Accessibility Service

TapQuoise uses Android's Accessibility Service, but TapQuoise is an automation app and not an accessibility aid for people with disabilities. Android shows a broad warning when you turn this on because the permission can perform gestures on your screen. TapQuoise asks you to review a disclosure before it takes you to Android's Accessibility settings, and you turn the service on yourself.

TapQuoise uses the Accessibility Service to:

  • perform the taps, swipes and long presses that you have configured in your workflows;
  • take one-shot screenshots when you capture an image template or run Test Trigger; and
  • detect Volume Up and Volume Down presses for TapQuoise's hardware controls, including holding both buttons for about one second to stop automation. Other keys are ignored, and this only starts after you have reviewed the Accessibility disclosure.

TapQuoise does not use the Accessibility Service to inspect app elements or the layout of a screen, to read on-screen text, or to look at what you type into forms. Its Accessibility configuration does not request permission to retrieve window content. In other words, it is used to carry out your gestures, not to read the contents of other apps. TapQuoise does not currently send anything obtained through the Accessibility Service off your device.

You can turn the Accessibility Service off at any time in Android's Accessibility settings. TapQuoise's automation will not run while it is off.

4. Screen capture and Image Workflows

TapQuoise looks at your screen in two ways, and both are used to find image conditions that you have configured.

Template Capture and Test Trigger

When you capture an image template or run Test Trigger, TapQuoise takes a one-shot screenshot through the Accessibility Service. When you capture a template, only the cropped area you select is saved, and the rest of the screenshot is discarded.

Running an Image Workflow

While an Image Workflow is running, TapQuoise captures the screen continuously using Android's screen capture (MediaProjection) feature, so that it can compare what is on screen with your templates. TapQuoise shows its own notice first, and Android also asks you to approve screen capture before each new capture session starts.

  • While the workflow is running, screen capture is active.
  • While the workflow is paused, screen capture stays active so that Resume can continue with the same session.
  • Screen capture ends completely when you stop or close the workflow, switch to another workflow, or when the workflow ends because it has run out of allowance or has failed. Android's capture then stops and TapQuoise's capture notification disappears. That session is not reused, so the next time you start an Image Workflow, Android asks for your approval again.

Screen capture records whatever is visible on the screen at the time, including content from other apps, such as messages or personal details. TapQuoise needs this in order to find your templates. Please use Image Workflows only when you are comfortable with TapQuoise analysing what is on your screen, and stop the workflow before you open anything sensitive. Android may stop apps from capturing protected content, and TapQuoise does not try to bypass those protections.

How captured images are handled

TapQuoise processes screen images locally on your device to detect image conditions configured by you. Live frames are analysed in memory. TapQuoise does not intentionally save them to storage or keep them after they have been processed. Screenshots from Template Capture and Test Trigger are also handled on your device.

TapQuoise does not currently upload your screen captures, live frames, screenshots or image templates to Evolazul or to anyone else.

5. Overlay, notification and other permissions

Display over other apps. TapQuoise uses Android's "Display over other apps" permission so that it can show its floating controls, editor and target markers on top of other apps. It is not used to collect unrelated information about you.

Notifications. On Android 13 and later, TapQuoise may ask for permission to show notifications. This is optional. TapQuoise uses it to show a status notification while an Image Workflow has screen capture active. It is not used for marketing or advertising. If you decline, your workflows still run.

Foreground service. While an Image Workflow has screen capture active, Android requires TapQuoise to run a foreground service, which is what the status notification represents.

6. Local storage

TapQuoise stores its data on your device, in its own app storage. This includes your workflows, trigger and action settings, timing and other settings, the image templates you have saved, your preferences, and local feature-access and usage-allowance information.

This data stays on your device when you close the app, until you delete it (see section 10). TapQuoise has no cloud sync and no TapQuoise account. TapQuoise also turns off Android's backup for its data, so it is not included in Android backups or device-to-device transfers.

Section 7 describes the limited purchase information that is sent to Evolazul's server for purchase verification, and the purchase records that the server keeps.

7. The internet, purchases and information sent from the app

TapQuoise requests Android's internet permission. It uses it for TapQuoise Pro purchases (see our Terms for what Pro is). When you buy TapQuoise Pro, restore a purchase, or when the app checks the status of a purchase you have made, it connects to a server operated by Evolazul over HTTPS, which encrypts the information in transit. The server checks the purchase with Google Play and tells the app whether TapQuoise Pro is active. TapQuoise has no user account or login, so this works from your Google Play purchase alone.

Purchases are made through Google Play Billing. Buying and paying happen between you and Google Play, and Evolazul does not receive your payment card details.

What TapQuoise sends to Evolazul's server

  • the Google Play purchase token for the purchase. This is a code that Google Play issues for each purchase. It is also sent for purchases that Google Play reports you already own, so that a restore or status check can work;
  • the Google Play product identifier, and whether the purchase is a subscription or a one-time product. For subscriptions, our server obtains the relevant subscription-plan details (such as whether it is the Monthly or Annual plan) from Google Play when verifying the purchase; and
  • when you buy TapQuoise Pro, a coarse indicator of how much of the free Image Workflow allowance you had used at that point: "fresh" (not started), "partial" (partly used) or "exhausted" (used up).

Like any internet request, these also reach Evolazul's server along with technical details such as your IP address and the app's user agent (see "Server logs" below).

What Evolazul's server keeps

Evolazul keeps a purchase record for each purchase it verifies, in a database hosted on Google Cloud. The record includes the purchase token and the details Evolazul receives from Google Play about the purchase, such as the product and subscription plan, its state (for example active, cancelled or expired), when a subscription expires, whether the purchase has been acknowledged to Google, the order information, whether it was a test purchase, and the coarse allowance indicator described above.

Evolazul uses these records to confirm your purchase and your TapQuoise Pro status, to restore Pro, and to keep that status up to date when a purchase changes, for example when a subscription renews or is cancelled. Google Play sends Evolazul's server notifications about such changes, and Evolazul keeps short-lived records of them so that the same notification is not processed twice.

Evolazul may also keep aggregate purchase statistics, such as counts of purchases by product or by allowance indicator, to understand how the free allowance and TapQuoise Pro are used. These are counts across many purchases, not reports about individual people. We do not claim that they are necessarily anonymous, because they are produced from purchase records. Section 8 explains why we do this.

Server logs

The Google Cloud service that runs Evolazul's server records technical information about each request in its logs. This can include the IP address the request came from, the user agent, the time and other request details. It is used to operate and secure the service and to diagnose problems.

What stays on your device

TapQuoise does not currently send any of the following to Evolazul or to anyone else:

  • screen captures, live frames or screenshots;
  • image templates;
  • workflow contents, including trigger and action definitions, search regions and tap or gesture positions;
  • analytics or detailed usage data, other than the coarse allowance indicator described above; or
  • advertising identifiers.

TapQuoise does not include crash-reporting tools, so it does not send crash reports.

8. Why we use this information

Data protection law (the UK GDPR) requires us to have a legal reason, called a legal basis, for using personal information. These are the reasons we use the purchase information described in section 7, and the basis we rely on for each. Evolazul Ltd is responsible for this information.

Providing TapQuoise Pro

We process purchase information where it is necessary to verify your purchase with Google Play, to keep your TapQuoise Pro access up to date (including renewals, cancellations and expiry), to restore your purchases when you ask, and to confirm the purchase to Google. We do this because it is necessary to provide the TapQuoise Pro service that you bought under our Terms. The legal basis is contract.

Operating and protecting the service

We use limited purchase and technical information where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating a secure and reliable purchase and entitlement service. This includes:

  • diagnosing problems, using server logs;
  • detecting and limiting misuse of purchases and of TapQuoise Pro access;
  • avoiding processing the same notification from Google Play twice; and
  • keeping certain purchase records for a limited time after a purchase stops giving access (currently up to 13 months, see section 10), so that we can resolve purchase, refund, revocation and access-support questions, reconcile past purchase status with Google Play, and investigate billing or access misuse.

The legal basis is legitimate interests. We limit what we keep, keep server logs and notification records for short periods, restrict access to them, and do not use server logs for advertising or to profile people.

Product statistics

When you buy TapQuoise Pro, the app sends a coarse indicator of how much of the free Image Workflow allowance you had used ("fresh", "partial" or "exhausted"). We link it to your purchase and use it, and the resulting purchase counts, to understand and improve the free allowance, the design of the product and its pricing. The legal basis is legitimate interests.

This is coarse purchase information, not tracking of what you do in the app. We do not receive a detailed usage history, TapQuoise has no account, the app does not send a device or installation identifier for this purpose, and we do not produce reports about individual people. The statistics are used internally. We do not claim that they are necessarily anonymous, because they are produced from purchase records.

Contacting us, and your rights

If you contact us about a purchase, we handle your message as part of providing TapQuoise Pro (contract). We handle other enquiries under our legitimate interests in responding to the people who contact us (legitimate interests). Where you ask to use your data protection rights, we use the information needed to deal with your request because data protection law requires us to (legal obligation). We use that basis only for handling those requests.

Objecting

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object to that use by contacting us at support@evolazul.com. We will consider your objection, subject to applicable law.

9. Your choices

You stay in control of what TapQuoise can do:

  • Accessibility Service: you decide whether to turn it on, and you can turn it off in Android's Accessibility settings at any time.
  • Screen capture: you can decline Android's screen-capture prompt, and you can stop or close an Image Workflow to end capture.
  • Display over other apps and notifications: you can withdraw either permission in Android's settings. Notifications are optional.
  • What is captured: you choose which part of the screen becomes a template and when to run an Image Workflow.
  • Purchases: whether to buy TapQuoise Pro is up to you, and you can manage or cancel a subscription in Google Play.
  • Your data: you can delete what is stored on your device, and you can contact us about purchase records (see section 10).

10. Retention and deletion

Data on your device

Because your workflows, templates and settings are stored on your device, you control them. You can remove them by:

  • deleting workflows and templates in TapQuoise, where the app provides that option;
  • clearing TapQuoise's storage in Android's app settings; or
  • uninstalling TapQuoise.

Evolazul cannot access or delete this local data remotely, because it is not sent to us. Live screen frames are not intentionally kept after they have been processed, so there is nothing further for you to delete for them.

Uninstalling TapQuoise or clearing its storage removes the data on your device. It does not remove the purchase records held by Evolazul's server or the purchase history held by Google Play.

Purchase records and logs held by Evolazul

These are the retention periods that apply at the date of this policy:

  • Purchase records: kept while a purchase is active. Once a purchase has reached a final state (for example, a subscription has expired or been cancelled), its record is currently kept for up to 13 months from the first time it reached that state. This is a period we have chosen to cover roughly one annual billing cycle plus a margin, for the purposes explained in section 8.
  • Records of notifications from Google Play, used to avoid processing the same notification twice: currently kept for 14 days.
  • Server request logs, which can include IP addresses and user agents: kept for approximately 30 days.

Google Cloud may also keep short-lived technical or recovery copies. For example, database recovery versions may remain available for up to about 7 days after a normal record is deleted, and an undelivered Google Play notification may be retained for up to 7 days while delivery is retried. Notifications that are processed successfully are normally acknowledged promptly.

Evolazul may keep aggregate purchase statistics, as described in sections 7 and 8.

Asking about, or asking us to delete, your information

To ask a question about the purchase records or other information Evolazul holds, or to ask for it to be deleted, email support@evolazul.com. TapQuoise has no account, so we may need details of the purchase, such as the order number from your Google Play receipt, to find a record, and we may ask you for them.

We will consider each request, but we cannot promise that every record can be deleted straight away. For example, we may need to keep a record in order to verify a purchase, for business records, or to meet legal obligations, and information held by Google is handled by Google. Evolazul cannot cancel a Google Play subscription, which you manage in Google Play.

Part B: This website

11. Cookies and browser storage

As of the date above, evolazul.com does not set cookies and does not use local storage or similar technologies in your browser. It does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or embedded third-party content. The site's fonts, styles and scripts all come from evolazul.com itself. Because of this, we do not show a cookie banner. You can read more on our Cookies page.

12. Hosting and server logs

This website is served by a third-party hosting provider. When you visit, your browser sends a request to that provider's servers. Like most web hosting, this means the provider's infrastructure receives, and may log, technical request information such as your IP address, browser and device type (user agent), the page requested, the date and time, and the referring page. This is used to deliver the site and to keep it secure.

Evolazul does not use this information for analytics, advertising or profiling. How long the hosting provider keeps its logs depends on the provider's own settings and policies.

13. Emails and enquiries you send us

If you contact Evolazul for support or another enquiry, you may provide information such as your email address, your name, your device model and Android version, screenshots or other information in your message. We use it to respond to you, investigate technical issues and provide support. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for us to help you, and check any screenshot before you attach it.

We may keep support correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, keep appropriate business records, resolve disputes or meet legal obligations. If you want us to delete your correspondence, or you have a question about information we hold about you, contact us using the details below.

This website has no contact form, account system or newsletter sign-up, so we only receive what you choose to email us.

Part C: Both the app and the website

14. Sharing and third parties

TapQuoise does not include advertising, analytics or crash-reporting tools and does not show ads. Evolazul does not sell personal information.

TapQuoise uses services provided by Google:

  • Google Play, which handles downloading and updating the app, and Google Play Billing, which handles TapQuoise Pro purchases and payment. These work between you and Google under Google's own terms and privacy policy, and are not controlled by Evolazul;
  • Google Play's developer services, which Evolazul's server uses to verify purchases, check the state of subscriptions, acknowledge purchases and receive notifications about changes (see section 7); and
  • Google Cloud, which hosts Evolazul's server and purchase records and generates the server logs described in section 7.

Information about your purchase therefore passes between TapQuoise, Evolazul's server and Google, as described in section 7.

If you email us, your message is handled by the email and website services we use to run our business. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

15. Security

TapQuoise keeps its data in its own app storage on your device, which Android normally keeps separate from other apps. Apart from the limited purchase information described in section 7, it does not send that data off your device. TapQuoise communicates with Evolazul's server over HTTPS, which encrypts the information in transit. Evolazul takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we receive, such as purchase records and support emails.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Please take care when choosing what to capture in an image template or include in a support message, and avoid capturing passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

16. Children's privacy

TapQuoise is not specifically designed as a service for children.

17. Your rights

You may have rights under applicable data protection law in relation to personal information that Evolazul holds about you, such as support correspondence. Whether a particular record, such as a purchase record, counts as personal information can depend on the circumstances, so if you are unsure, please ask. Where we rely on legitimate interests (see section 8), you may be able to object to that use. The rights that apply depend on the circumstances and are subject to applicable law. To ask about your rights, contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as TapQuoise and this website develop. If a future version of TapQuoise changes how it processes or sends information, or the permissions it uses, we will update this policy to say so.

When this policy is updated, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated date.
